On April 28, 2026, the Mannheim Medical Technology Campus at CUBEX ONE became a hub for innovation, networking, and new ideas in healthcare: The 6th. NextGen Healthcare Rhein-Neckar Treffen brought together more than 80 participants from business, academia, local government, and the healthcare sector.
The evening focused on current developments and innovative approaches for the healthcare of tomorrow. A special highlight was the open house at the Mannheim real-world labs: During six exclusive group tours, guests gained exciting insights into the INSPIRE Living Lab, the M²AXI Usability Lab, the Hybrid-OP, and TEDIAS, as well as the INSPIRE platform and the M²OLIE Research Campus.
Two expert presentations provided additional inspiration: Anna Windisch from QUMEA GmbH impressively demonstrated how mobility monitoring can contribute to patient safety. Dr. Hannah Krause also offered insights into the work and possibilities of the INSPIRE Living Labs.
In addition to the diverse insights into the site’s innovative strength, the event offered numerous opportunities for personal exchange and networking. During in-depth discussions, current ideas were explored, new perspectives were developed, and concrete points of contact for future collaborations were established.
