The STIMULATE medical technology research campus at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg is hosting the 7th Image Guided Interventions Conference (IGIC) on October 23 and 24, 2025. The conference, held in collaboration with the Mannheim research campus M²OLIE, brings together leading experts from medicine, science, and industry to present the latest developments in medical technology research and strengthen the transfer of innovative, image-guided intervention technologies into clinical application.
Under the title “Advanced Image-Guided Interventions and Intelligent Medical Technologies,” this year’s focus is on robot-assisted interventions and AI-based diagnostic procedures that can make medical procedures more precise and efficient. In addition, experts will discuss new approaches in image-guided tumor therapy and the treatment of vascular diseases that could bring about lasting changes in patient care.
