Interview in January 2025 as part of the success stories “We are a research campus” on the BMFTR portal of the research campuses
The M²OLIE research campus gives Egbert Janssen and Anna Simeonova-Chergou time to develop ideas. Time that neither of them would otherwise have. They are developing a platform for ad hoc discussion and decision-making on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients.

Egbert Janssen, 48, is CEO of Celsius37.com. The medical informatics specialist’s software company specializes in tumor boards. Dr. Anna Simeonova-Chergou, 43, is a senior physician at the Clinic for Radiation Therapy and Radio-Oncology at Mannheim University Hospital. Together, they are developing a digital and agile tumor board for the planned M²OLIE clinic at the M²OLIE research campus. This tumor board is designed to be faster and more flexible. Both can hardly wait to see the tumor board in action.
