The Research Focus „Medical Systems Technologies“ is one of the four Research Focus Areas at the Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University. On January 27, 2023, the steering committee invited to the first retreat of the research focus at CUBEX ONE. On this day, the members dedicated an entire day to the development of large-scale projects such as M²OLIE, the interfaces with other scientific institutions, and the strategy for young researchers. The advisory board of the research focus also intensively discussed the future direction of medical technology research.
