She came in her capacity as chair of the M\u00b2OLIE Steering Committee to gain firsthand insight into the work and progress of the public-private partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the outset, Associate Dean Prof. Dr. Wolf-K. Hofmann of the Mannheim School of Medicine welcomed the guests on behalf of the dean. Prof. Dr. Frank Giordano, Prof. Dr. Patrick Maier, Prof. Dr. Stefan Sch\u00f6nberg, and Prof. Dr. Carmen W\u00e4ngler then presented the research campus, its goals, and current developments. The subsequent discussion focused on the planned proposal as part of the HightechSpaces initiative. The event concluded with a practical demonstration of \u201cguidoo,\u201d the robotic assistant developed at M\u00b2OLIE, simulating a transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) procedure. During the demonstration, the system successfully inserted three needles simultaneously into a phantom.
