As part of the 29th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Computer-Aided Surgery (ISCAS), he presented his doctoral thesis \u2013 conducted at the M\u00b2OLIE Research Campus \u2013 on the implementation of a cost-effective, monocular near-infrared camera tracking system in MRI and CT navigation systems. The system enables real-time tracking of medical instruments during image-guided procedures and was evaluated using phantoms in percutaneous liver biopsies under CT and MRI guidance. The work received the ISCAS 2026 Poster Presentation Award and was published in the renowned International Journal of Computer-Assisted Radiology and Surgery.
