The intervention room is equipped with an Artis zeego\u00ae system (Siemens Healthcare) as the central component for inline imaging in an experimental research environment. Further components of this experimental platform are the robotic assistance system guidoo (BEC GmbH) for automated biopsy removal and brachytherapy, which is based on a lightweight robot LBR med (KUKA Deutschland GmbH), and the hybrid operating table (MAQUET GmbH). In this innovative technical environment, technical developments can be evaluated directly by clinical users. In addition, further Artis zeego\u00ae systems are located in parallel designed clinical intervention rooms on the premises of the University Medical Center Mannheim, so that a transfer of research results into practice is significantly simplified.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-xmedias-blocks-m2olie-content-block\"><div class=\"row divider_hr\"><div class=\"columns\"><hr\/><\/div><\/div><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"columns\"><div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-xmedias-blocks-foundation-columns columns\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SOMATOM Force<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new Computed Tomography (CT) SOMATOM Force from Siemens Healthcare was unveiled to the world for the first time on 14 November, 2013, at the University hospital in Mannheim (UMM). The third generation of dual-source computed tomography (CT scanner with two radiation tubes and detectors) is much faster and more accurate in terms of diagnosis in clinical use at a greatly reduced
