Preparations for this year’s functional test are already in full swing. Once a year, all project participants come together at the Research Campus to test the extent to which the individual innovations in M²OLIE already interact smoothly and on which interfaces a particular focus needs to be placed.
The contents of this year’s functional test, which will take place on June 26, 2023, are already being discussed intensively in the M²OLIE „Monday rounds.“ The ultimate goal is to efficiently and sustainably implement the vision of the closed-loop process for the treatment of patients with oligometastases. The fact that M²OLIE is well on the way to achieving this is already demonstrated by the close integration of solutions from patient admission to biopsy – the so-called „Minimal Viable Closed-Loop“. The results of the functional test will again play a major role in shaping the agenda of this year‘s M²OLIE Retreat. This will take place one week later at Schöntal Monastery.
